I’ve always loved embroidery, whether it be by hand or by machine, and while I’ve made my fair share of hand embroidery, I went a little crazy designing patches when I got my hands on an embroidery machine. I made fairy wings, flowers, owls, and a plethora of other things. I just needed a way to showcase them!

Something I discovered while on my journey to learn about patch making was the concept of a battle jacket, a jacket where patches were applied all over, prominent in the metal and punk music culture. I loved the look and the idea, so I set out to start making mine in a more colorful way, by finding a white jeans jacket, dyeing it pink, and applying my various designs on it!
