To preface, this was definitely my favorite project to work on.

While we had had goldwork items in the past before I worked there, once I started working on these I was dismayed. We didn’t have enough information in our tech packs for these items. So I set out to learn as much as I could about goldwork and standardize our tech packs, as well as teach my coworkers. This was done just in time as a huge projects needing us to new make badges from scratch came in.

Goldwork is a type of embroidery with metal threads that can only be done by hand. It’s very long and expensive to make so we had to be as precise as possible when giving instructions on these items.

Below you can see some of the different libraries I created to help myself and coworkers to work on these projects.
