After discovering the beauty of goldwork embroidery, I decided to embark on my own journey of creation. I found artists who mixed goldwork with beadwork, and, enchanted, I got to work. This project was meant to be exploratory and fun, so it’s not perfect, but I am quite satisfied with the results. Using a mix of various beads, such as seed beads and semi-precious stones, as well as goldwork like broad plate, spangles, military wire, and pearl purl, I made a sunset view over mountains and a smaller brooch version of it.
